What makes our church teaching unique?  

We believe that all religious seeking is good. All paths lead to God.

We believe that Christianity is evolving away from exclusive doctrines toward greater personal spiritual understanding and development.

Christ’s inclusive love is the focus of our faith.

The Bible is a treasure of deeper meanings found in the images as elucidated in the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. It is more than the history of a people; it is a guide for the growth and evolution of every individual; it is food for our spiritual needs.

Salvation is a personal daily journey that God works to help each person attain through direct experience with the Divine. An individual’s salvation is a personal internal experience that cannot be dictated or judged by external forces.

Each of us has an eternal spiritual body (our soul) that will continue to live on after our earthly bodies give out. The world of spirit is real and is connected to us. 

Our lives are determined solely by our choices and free will. Each of us is responsible for our spiritual development. God gives us the freedom to make our own decisions.

The Second Coming is the deeply personal event happening right now as each individual attains personal salvation. It is not a future event in the physical world.

We determine whether we will spend eternity in heaven or hell by the decisions we make and how we live our lives now.
