The Rites of the Church

There are three Rites or Rituals that are celebrated:

Confirmation
The church offers to adolescents and adults opportunities to learn and understand the beliefs of the church regarding God, the Bible, life, the purpose of our lives and life after death.  If the person then chooses to become a member of the church, the rite of confirmation is celebrated, as a ritual of becoming a member of the church.

Marriage
 We celebrate marriage by a wedding ceremony.  Marriage at its deepest inner level, represents the union or oneness of love and wisdom that exists in God. 

Resurrection Services
 Resurrection and Memorial Services celebrate the life of the deceased.  We understand death to be the door through which one enters the afterlife or Spiritual world. Our spiritual self is developed by the quality and character of how we now live.
